Hello people from Last Hope
My name is Arcanor, and i'm a level 80 undead mage on the server Darksorrow-EU. This is my application to you guys, hope you find it interesting and enjoy reading it aswell.

Professions: My main profession is tailoring reason for choosing it is that it benefits me more or less as a spellcaster.

Rotation: A small part of Arcane's maximum DPS relies unfortunately on luck but what I do is the following: Arcane barrage -> Arcane Blast(repeat) afterwards im using Missile Barrage whenever it procs ofcourse.

First of all I would like to mention that my World of Warcraft experience is spread out on two different charecters to make it clear from the begining so that you guys don't get confused while reading the following.

With my main charecter now, Arcanor, i've experienced and completed those raids that moste people focus on today. These are: Onyxia(10man), Onyxia(25man), ToC(10man), ToC(25man), Pit Of Saron(new heroic), Forge of Souls(new heroic) and halls of Reflection (new heroic). When it comes to icc I have achievements for the four bosses from the first wing in 25-man and in 10-man I have achievements of six bosses(in other words to professor). Altough I don't have achievement for professor I have wiped on him for several hours which gives me the experience but also to learn from my mistakes on him.

Then there is the charecter named: Xezi-Frostwhisper-EU. Xezi is as Arcanor a mage(it is important to mention since it shows that i've focused on my class much). I was in the best guild then which also is the best guild now named: Thule. The leader is called: Shedevil and she was an amazing leader with great passion for the game. In this guild we were hunting very hard achievements in Ulduar(hardmodes ofcourse). This guild took my skills to the next level which I believe you guys have. I sold this charecter to one of my friends and his home is about 300meters from mine so if you want prove you can have it.

Playing times(If leaders and officers or even members ask of me to stay longer then these following time limits I will do so indeed):

my computer: Intel pentium Dual Core E8400 (3,00 Ghz), RAM: 4GB and most important GeForce 250GTS.

Why would I be a good tribute to Last Hope?: I am the kind of guy that goes a long way for his guild in different ways. First of I am never late to any kind of events ingame. I always want to improve myself even if it takes an great amount of patience. If I do something wrong I dont deny it instead I work on solving the issue as soon as possible because it benefits the whole guild since its teamwork in raids and everyone depends on one another. If I have something to say prehaps the way to take down a boss I will do so in whisper to the leader or officer but in a nice way ofcourse. In guilds like Last Hope I know that wipe and repair is a big part of the game since progress is impossible without it so there will be no whine from my part. I know flask and pots are a must in raids so gold will be spendet in that area. My attendence will be very high for sure, my guess is 70-80 % as minimum. The most important thing about me is that I easily accept many things when it comes to guilds, for example if an item drops that has a greater value to another player I will pass without thinking one second about it. Now I know that I seem pretty serious with this application but there is a reason for that ofcourse I really want to join Last Hope but I can also promise you I am a mature and kind guy that also can tribute with fun in the guild.

you said you sold your previous character? whats the chance of that happening again? couse we don't invest in players who just sell their account 2 months later after we geared em up.

and whats your reason for leaving that guild on Frostwhsiper?


also what is your experiance from previous expansion and vanilla?


how come your professions are so low?


some questions i would like answered before we make any decision

-You are currently 5,5% over the hit-cap and your haste is alot lower than it should be.
-The boots you crafted have hit and crit, both kind of bad stats for an arcane mage. How come you didn't craft the BiS pants instead?
-You have alot of spirit gear, which without 2xt9 bonus is pretty bad.
-The t10 gloves is by far the weakest part of the set (aside from maybe pants, which noone should be using anyway) so how come you decided to get them when you're already far above the hit cap instead of saving a few extra emblems to get head or chest?
-While those bracers may be good for your gearscore, they are actually quite a bit behind Bejeweled Wizard's Bracers in terms of actual DPS output (with the gear you currently have).

As for your specc, how do you justify Permafrost and Student of the Mind over Magic Attunement, IA and Frost Warding?
You are also lacking dual-specc meaning you are gimping yourself alot in any fight where AoE or movement is a big factor. Can't afford it or what?

Hello again. I will start by anserwing the questions that paarandisen asked. There is no chance that I will sell this account at all. If I become a member in Last Hope I will probably be in the guild until it doesn't exist anymore since I believe that Last Hope is the kind of guild were players are commited to the guild for a long time and I will describe myself as being that kind of player. The reason why I left Thule is personal but it had to do with the fact that one of my best friends recieved breast-cancer and therefore my attendence was low in the guild. My experience before this expansion is on shared account which me and my best friend had. We played a rogue and completed molten core and blackwing laire at that time. I didn't play WoW during the burning crusade that much to be honest, wanted to improve myself in school during this time and this isn't a problem today. My professions are low two of my friends wanted me fix their professions to the fullest and my reward would be that I could use their professions anytime I want to. I took this offer because they are my friends and also it was a very simple thing to do since they both had much gold. This is me being totally honest with you based on what I have written. I hope you can consider me now.

Now to continue with your questions Moldaire. First of all I would like to say that I agree with everything you have to say about my mage and I am not going to come up with stupid excuses to defend myself on the other hand I will be completely honest with you. My boots before these were item level 232 therefore I felt like an change was needed as soon as possible. I farmed 2k gold for these boots and all my gold went on the mats. The pants would have been a greater choice but my mind was on boots since mine were so bad at that time. Even tough I spent all my gold on the mats for these boots I have money for an dual-specc so if you want me to get it I will for sure since it is the best thing for the guild I guess. My reason for picking the T10 gloves was the set bonus ofcourse and they aren't that good I se since they have hit and I don't need that but on the other hand I will recieve my third T10 piece on wednesday. This will be the headpiece. My current specc seems alright but I have looked closer and changing the things you said will infact be better so I will do that the next time I am ingame. I know I am over hit-cap but I haven't had much luck when it comes to bosses dropping items that benefit me to be honest(items with haste etc). As I said these are my mistakes and I will change them as soon as possible hopefully with a little help from you guys but mostly on my own since they are MY mistakes.

tbh your state of mind dont seem to match our requirements, priority on your friends professions rather than ur own wont help us much and the fact that you don't even seem to think dual specc to be that important for a mage judging by your response just makes me feel you still lack abit of experiance to play in Last Hope, thus i have to deny this application, good luck finding a guild and best of luck!
